Reliable Chevy Big Lot'A Food Drive is a Success

Reliable Chevy's 4th Annual Big Lot'A Food Drive was a big hit last month, bringing in over 7,000 non-perishable and canned food items from members throughout the Springfield community. Donated to Grand Oak Mission Center, a ministry of the Green County Baptist Association whose mission it is to provide clothing and food for those in need, the edible goods were used to prepare a Thanksgiving meal for less fortunate families.

Corvette ZR1 Sinkhole Victim Gets Restored

The entire automotive industry went into panic mode earlier this year when the National Corvette Museum developed a sinkhole in one of its showrooms and swallowed eight cars whole. Each Corvette was greatly damaged due to the fall, but with a little help from Chevy, a restoration project was put together to repair select models. A total of nine months has passed since the sinkhole incident, and now as promised, Chevy has unveiled the first restored victim: a 2009 Corvette ZR1.

Chevy Introduces Diesel-Powered Colorado ZR2 Concept

Chevy pulled out its big guns at this year's L.A. Auto Show, debuting the all-new Colorado ZR2 Concept equipped with a diesel engine. The off-road, high-end piece of machinery is an extension of Chevy's former ZR2 production models and is a glimpse into what the brand has in mind for the Colorado in the future. It's also the first model to feature the 2.8L Duramax diesel engine, which will make its official entrance into the Colorado lineup in 2015.
